Dead dolphin found in Commewijne River

Today I went to Mariënburg, to the landing, because the boatmen of Mariënburg found a dead dolphin floating in the river. They called us through Moen, and brought it at our request to the landing. It was later picked up by the Nature Conservation Division and put on ice. It died in a fishing net, it was full of clear net markings, and someone cut off part of its tail fin. The striking thing to me is always, that they have such human eyes (of course they are mammals).
